What’s a book launch team?
A book launch team is a community of people who believe in an author’s message and want to help the author meet their goals by supporting and assist them in getting the book in front of as many people as possible.
Why do you need a book launch team?
There are a lot of misconceptions about the book publishing process—the biggest being that once you’ve written the book, your publisher will be out there marketing it as you enjoy the royalties that roll in. Sadly, this is about as far from the truth as you can imagine.
Writing a book has been on my bucket list for decades. Writing a book and getting on a best-seller list? Um, yes please. What I’ve come to learn, however, is that writing the book is only step one of the multi-step process for actually getting the book out into the world. Launch teams are a great way to tap into the power of community to help an author spread the word and get the book in front of as many people as possible. made up of amazing people like you who agree to buy the book during the pre-sale period and write an honest review on Amazon or Goodreads on launch day (February 21, 2024). If you want to do more, you can also post on social media and invite others to join the journey.
